WTM Architectural Engineering Prize 2021

Prizewinner Lena Woidt and CEO Thomas Schadow.

The WTM Architectural Engineering Prize was presented, in cooperation with HafenCity Universität Hamburg (HCU), on December 3, 2021. This prize sponsored by WTM Engineers comes with prize money of €2,000. It is awarded to the best final-year Master’s project on the “Architectural Engineering” degree program, thus rewarding talented engineers-to-be. This year, the judges were most impressed by the thesis submitted by M.Sc. graduate Lena Woidt, “Fehleranalyse und Sanierungskonzept für eine bestehende Drehbrücke mit Funktionsstörung” (Fault Analysis and Rectification Plan for an Existing Swivel Bridge that Does not Work Properly). CEO Dr. Thomas Schadow presented the relevant certificate at the ceremony for this year’s graduates from HCU’s civil engineering faculty. Our sincere congratulations to Ms. Woidt and all the best for her future career.

Encouraging the upcoming generation of engineers is very important to us at WTM Engineers. With this in mind we also sponsor the committed high-achievers amongst the students as part of the Germany-wide scholarship and by means of an in-house master’s scholarship.
