WTM Engineers attaches great importance to staff development and further training for our employees. Not only do we award our WTM Architectural Engineering Prize to the best students at HafenCity University Hamburg, but we also offer students the opportunity to write bachelor’s and master’s theses with a practical focus. We have gained a reputation over many years as a training company for the profession of draftsperson (m/f/d). The three-year apprenticeship starts every year on August 1 and takes place in block phases alternating between theory (at a vocational school) and practice (in the company). The training includes working in various areas, applying BIM methodology, various placements on construction sites, exciting projects, and a pleasant working atmosphere within a committed team – and of course there’s the possibility of being taken on after successful completion of the training.

Your start at WTM Engineers
We will welcome you on your first day at work and introduce you to the team. In the first few days, you’ll learn everything you need to know about WTM Engineers and your area of responsibility, and you’ll get your IT equipment. Of course, the program also includes training on the topics of occupational health and safety, data protection and IT usage, etc.
Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions during your induction – your new team will be happy to answer them so that you quickly gain a good overview and confidence in your new area of work. We’ll be delighted if you quickly get the feeling that: “This is the right place for me, I’m staying here!”
During your induction we’ll give you continuous feedback so that you always know where you stand. And of course, you’re likewise welcome to share your impressions with us at any point. At the end of the induction there will be a probationary period review, where you’ll get feedback on the induction period and plan your next steps with us. We’re also very happy to receive feedback from you on your induction and the cooperation within the team.
