WTM Architectural Engineering Prize 2018

Prize awarded at HafenCity University.

The WTM Architectural Engineering Prize bestowed in cooperation with HafenCity University was awarded for the eighth time on December 7, 2018. The prize sponsored by WTM Engineers includes prize money of EUR 2,000 and aims to promote talented young engineers by rewarding the student with the best Master thesis from the “Bauingenieurwesen - Architectural Engineering” course. This year the prize went to M.Sc. Lucas Lüning for his Master thesis entitled “Numerische Simulation geschraubter Scherlochleibungs-Verbindungen für GFK-Profile mit der Finite-Elemente-Methode” (Numeric Simulation of Bolted Shear-Bearing Connections for Fiberglass Profiles using the Finite Element Method). It was presented by Dr. Alexander Steffens during the official farewell ceremony for Architectural Engineering graduates of HafenCity University Hamburg.

WTM Engineers also strongly supports aspiring engineers through the Germany Scholarship or Deutschlandstipendium, which is awarded to high-achieving, committed students.
