For the fifth time, on Wednesday, May 25 “Germany Scholarships” were awarded to top-performing and committed students at HCU. For the first time, WTM sponsored one such scholarship at HCU, which was awarded to Jörn Beckmann. HCU President Dr. Walter Pelka bestowed the award in the presence of the sponsors. These non-means-tested scholarships are funded jointly and in equal measure by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the sponsors. The objective of the Germany Scholarship is to promote an enduring contact between the scholarship holders and the sponsors.
WTM would like to wish Mr. Beckmann every continuing success with his studies in Structural Engineering.
