Professorship for Dr. Martin Herbrand

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Herbrand.

Dr.-Ing. Martin Herbrand has been officially appointed a professor at hochschule 21 in Buxtehude and is now teaching in the field of structural engineering and structural analysis. Alongside his lecturing activities and supervision of students on a sandwich work and study program, Dr. Herbrand continues to devote himself to challenging projects at WTM Engineers in the field of civil engineering. In this way, he bridges that crucial divide between academia and practice. As part of the innovative “smartBRIDGE Hamburg” project, he led the development of a digital twin to the Köhlbrandbrücke bridge for WTM Engineers. Dr. Herbrand has also played a major role in large-scale projects like the “Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier” in the HafenCity or the revitalization of the “CCH – Congress Center Hamburg”. Our firm therefore manages to retain his special expertise.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration and extend our heartfelt congratulations to our colleague on his professorship.
