WTM Engineers is proud to continue its tradition of strong involvement in associations and federations. At this year’s Kongress der Hafentechnischen Gesellschaft (HTG) in Lübeck, Dr Jäppelt was voted onto the board. He has been active at HTG for many years now, just as he has been a keen member of various other associations and specialist committees, and in his new position will continue to strongly support HTG’s work.
On the same occasion, after almost ten years Dr Morgen retired from the board. In recognition of his “great services to Hafentechnische Gesellschaft” and “his outstanding achievements in the field of engineering” he was made an Honorary Member of the Board.
In the lecture session, WTM Engineers in the person of Harald von Thaden gave a specialist presentation on the modernization and repair of the weir at Geesthacht.
