A symbolic ground-breaking ceremony on November 18 marked the start of construction of the new Zentralklinik hospital in East Frisia. Representatives of the hospital operator Kliniken Aurich-Emden-Norden and politicians celebrated this major milestone with numerous other stakeholders and guests. The newly developed health campus will replace the existing three separate locations as a state-of-the-art hospital which combines everything at a single site.

Together with our partner firm Ingenieurgruppe Bröggelhoff, we are planning the load-bearing structure and have developed the excavation planning, drainage, and dewatering through to implementation planning. We are therefore delighted to see this complex construction project now enter the realization phase. Over the next few months, there’ll be a lot of earth moving, with the construction access roads laid out, the piles sunk, and the excavation pit dug. At the same time, the implementation planning is being updated, and the shell construction is set to begin in summer 2025.
