WTM Day 2026 – a day for connecting up and shared experiences.

What makes WTM special? That’s something we were able to see in full force on WTM Day: When 200 colleagues board the train from Hamburg to Munich, the special sense of community is already palpable. And when members of staff from all our offices spend a whole day together, the result is connections, conversations and memories that forge lasting bonds.

The day began with an inspiring keynote by futurologist Max Thinius, who helped us look far beyond our day-to-day work and into the future. The focus here was on the opportunities that AI and digitization bring to society, and the question of how we can actively help shape these trends. His key message was that the future doesn’t just happen – we influence it every day through our actions.

During the various activities that took place throughout Munich, one thing was center stage above all else: togetherness. Whether it was cycling along the Isar, touring the famous Viktualienmarkt food market, climbing to the top of the Frauenkirche, gaining exciting behind-the-scenes insights at the Bavarian State Opera, or spending the evening together at the Hofbräukeller – staff members experienced genuine connections, meaningful conversations, and new perspectives everywhere.

And even after the official program ended, the WTM spirit lived on: While exploring Munich’s nightlife together or taking day trips the next day to Bavaria’s mountains and lakes, many attendees took the opportunity to get to know each other even better and enjoy memorable moments.

As we go back to our day-to-day work, we take with us plenty of new impressions, inspiring conversations and – above all – an even stronger sense of togetherness.
