The first workshop as part of a BIM research project was held on our premises yesterday. The participants were the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), the road construction authorities of the federal states, and waterways and shipping authorities. WTM is a member of the “BIM4INFRA2020” consortium, which the BMVI has commissioned to put in place important conditions for implementation of the BIM road map. The consortium is organizing a series of events across Germany intended to prepare for the nationwide introduction of BIM from 2020 onwards in line with the “Digital Design and Construction” road map.
