This summer, our team players donned their WTM shirts to give their all once again at challenging sporting events. The first whistle blew for the high-springing volleyball team at a tournament in sunny Berlin in late June. In Munich, our endurance colleagues successfully completed the company B2Run in mid-July, covering a route of around 5.1 km through the Olympic Park with the finish line in the Olympic Stadium. Five kilometers was also the approximate distance covered by each team member of our five relay teams for the MoPo race in Hamburg’s Stadtpark one month later. In two major cycling events, a total of 14 riders took to their racing bikes wearing the WTM jersey. One of these events saw the cycling relay team take on the challenging 24-hour race, Rad am Ring, at the Nürburgring in July. The summer season then came to an end in glorious weather by our colleagues in Berlin as they successfully completed the city’s B2Run on September 17.
The teams motivated and cheered each other on, sweated and had fun after work and at the weekends – that’s true team spirit! We’re already looking forward to the next summer of sport.
