At the HTG 2019 Congress Dr Karl Morgen was honoured for his life’s work with the HTG Prize, as bestowed by the Werner Möbius Foundation. The prize is a due tribute to his outstanding achievements in the field of engineering and reflects his many successful years as a partner and managing director at WTM Engineers GmbH, as well as his voluntary work on behalf of HTG and other associations and specialist committees. The HTG also emphasized that Karl Morgen is an example for us all at the personal level, too, as his friendly, disciplined, unobtrusive approach and unwavering focus on finding solutions have helped him gain the respect of not only his staff, but also the entire hydraulic engineering industry.
We are delighted for Dr Morgen, who continues to work actively as a consultant at WTM Engineers.
