The Bayerische Ingenieurekammer-Bau, Bavaria’s Chamber of Structural Engineering, offered a digital tour of the current construction project on the Ludwigsbrücken in the heart of the Bavarian state capital of Munich on July 22, 2020, at 6.00 p.m., and thus provided a site visit to students and other interested parties even in times of Corona restrictions. Participants were able to get information about the construction measures online and find out all there is to know about the installation of the temporary bridges, along with other background information, from the comfort of their own screens. The digital tour, entitled “General maintenance of the Ludwigsbrücken in Munich and its challenges”, was hosted together with Mr. Wulf from the Munich Municipal Dept. of Building, also a member of the board at Baylka-Bau, and Dr Wurzer from WTM Engineers.
