Potsdam’s synagogue and community center garnered first prize at the 2024 Deutscher Ziegelpreis in the category “multi-layered”, awarded by Bundesverband der Deutschen Ziegelindustrie e. V. “The sand-colored brick façade combines the tradition of sacral buildings in the March of Brandenburg with cosmopolitan architecture”, opined the jury. The award ceremony took place in Bayrische Architektenkammer (the Bavarian Chamber of Architects’) banquet hall.
