25 years of the Berlin office – good reason to celebrate

On July 4, Dr. Hans Scholz welcomed a total of 150 invited guests to celebrate the 25th birthday of the WTM Engineers office in Berlin.

In his speech, he took the attendees on a journey – from the foundation of the branch back in 2000 through to the present day. Another speaker was Otto-Ewald Marek, a member of the board at VBI, who outlined his view of the Berlin office, saying it has had and continues to have an important influence on regional planning in Berlin. Dr. Konrad Schuster for his part presented the outlook for the future and the challenges that it will bring with it.

Our special guest was Dr. Karl Morgen, who was instrumental in founding what was the first office outside Hamburg.

In ideal summer weather, the event gave rise to plenty of good conversations and occasional astonishment at how many projects the office has already worked on.
