WTM Engineers in the VDI news

Our article in the Careers & Management section.

Lea-Friederike and Nicodemus Jansson from the Hamburg office of WTM Engineers.

What is so fascinating about civil engineering? What projects does a large engineering firm like WTM Engineers work on? And how is it possible to balance work and family life in the midst of it all? These and other questions were posed by a journalist at the weekly newspaper VDI in an interview with Lea-Friederike Jansson, engineer for foundation construction, and Nicodemus Jansson, project manager for structural engineering. The result is an article that offers a wealth of insights into the professional life of the two civil engineers, published in the Careers section of the current edition. From the roof terrace of our office by the River Elbe, the couple were able to point directly to one or the other project in Hamburg during the discussion. And looking at the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier currently taking shape in the HafenCity development, Nicodemus Jansson, who has played a major role in the project, could proudly say: “It’s the kind of project that comes up once in a lifetime.”
