On December 1, 2023, the WTM Architectural Engineering Prize was presented in cooperation with the HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU). The prize, which comes with prize money of 2,000 euros, is donated by WTM Engineers and has been honoring talented young engineers since 2010 with an annual award for the best Master’s thesis in the field of “Civil Engineering – Architectural Engineering” course. This year, it was Celina Hunschok, M.Sc., who convinced the jury with her Master’s thesis “Elemental façade systems made of hardwood – numerical modelling and structural optimization of timber-glass composite systems”. Managing Director Dr. Alexander Steffens presented the certificate as part of the ceremony to bid farewell to the graduates of the Civil Engineering degree program. We sincerely congratulate Miss Hunschok and wish her all the best in her future career.
